- Do I need to have my own equipment to start with?
No, we can lend you most of the gear when first joining the club. However, as you start progressing we would encourage you to have your own equipment as soon as possible, if you decide diving is for you. - How does the training work and can I join the club anytime? The best starting point is to come along and have a chat with one of our instructors, we can then go through everything with you on an informal bases. However, once you have joined ScotSAC and Eden Valley Divers, the training is free of charge, you will progress to a qualification that is recognized worldwide and one to be very proud of!
- How much does it cost for me to join? Before training begins you will have to join ScotSAC, more information on their membership fees can be found at www.scotsac.com. Their first years subscription is currently £75, which also covers your training logbook. After the first year it's £55. You will also have to become members of Eden Valley Divers, and our subscription is currently £50 per year.
